Civic Center Lake Charles LA

Similar to the Burton Coliseum, the Civic Center is located in the heart of downtown Lake Charles. Able to seat over a thousand people, the center is home to hundred of events a year. These events range from large festivals held outside in the parking lot area to musical and theatrical performances held on the stages inside. The Civic Center is a three story building with each floor possessing a different layout. This allows the center to hold multiple events at once, for example: a reptile educational show on the first floor and a martial arts class and demonstration on the second. With it’s estate on the lakefront, people walking along the boardwalk can enjoy the view of passing boats, war monuments, fishermen on the stone banks and the near by Millennium park all just a short walk from the center.
